2nd Meeting of the Working Group on Human Capital

Sarajevo, 3-4 July 2008

The 2nd Meeting of the Working Group on Human Capital saw participants discuss the industry dynamics and competitiveness in the Western Balkans of the automotive components, business process outsourcing, information and communication technology, and textile and garment sectors.

Participants also reviewed solutions to reduce policy barriers hindering further growth in these sectors, short- to medium-term responses to perceived sector-specific skills gaps, and the assessment framework of the Human Capital dimension of the Investment Reform Index 2009 evaluation.

The workshop was organised in co-operation with Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA).
