The Joint Venture on Monitoring the Paris Declaration been tasked with coordinating the 2006 Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration. It is to be undertaken in the 60 countries that endorsed the Paris Declaration.

2008 Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration

How effective is aid at helping countries meet their own development objectives? Some of the answers can be found in this report which presents the results from the second follow-up survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. It assesses progress in 54 developing countries and helps us understand the challenges in making development aid more effective. The findings are clear: donors and partner countries need to take stock and commit to doing whatever is needed to reach the agreed targets by 2010.

Launch of 2008 Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration

The documentation for the 2008 Survey on Monitoring the Paris Declaration is now available in English and French, and Spanish and can be downloaded on the dedicated website . Fifty-six countries have confirmed that they will be undertaking this survey. The survey is to be carried out between 2 January - 31 March 2008.
